Lauren is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and Doctor of Physical Therapy who joined us after practicing for more than 7 years in Atlanta. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from University of Florida in 2008 and worked in cardiac rehab and stress testing for a year before starting PT school. She graduated from Duke University with her DPT in 2012 and moved to Atlanta shortly after where she completed BenchMark Physical Therapy’s orthopedic residency program.
Outside of treating patients, Lauren has a special interest in teaching and learning, frequently acting as a clinical instructor to PT students and a mentor for new graduate PTs and residents. She opened a clinic for her former company near downtown Atlanta where she acted as clinic director and saw a wide variety of patients and diagnoses.
